FEAST Energy Advice Project

The Family Energy and Savings Team (FEAST) is a joint project between West Lothian Credit Union Forum, West Lothian Council Advice Shop and local credit unions, funded by Scottish Power Energy People's Trust. FEAST can offer a full home energy audit to new and existing credit union members meeting the following criteria:

  • Aged 16-25 (18-25 if applying for a loan) or with children under 16
  • Joining a credit union for the first time (we will pay an incentive of up to £20, half on joining and half after 6 months provided you have saved at least £25) or
  • Applying for a credit union loan for energy efficient white goods, home energy improvements or payment of fuel bills

The audit also includes help to access insulation and heating grants, heating use advice, payment methods, dual fuel and social tariffs, help with billing problems and other financial issues. For more information, contact your credit union or Janet Mundy on 01506 633222 (janet.mundy@wlcuf.org.uk) or Karen Elphinstone on 01506 283000 (karen.elphinstone@westlothian.gov.uk).
