Trip to Ireland

Volunteers and staff from Blackburn Seafield & District, Capital and Livingston Credit Unions recently visited credit unions in Ireland to find out more about the credit union movement there. The group were made very welcome by Meath Street and Sandymount Credit Unions in Dublin, and they also had a very successful visit to Northern Ireland to see Portadown and Lurgan Credit Unions. They learned a lot about the different products and services available and were able to discuss issues that all credit unions have in common throughout the world!

The photographs show that it was not all hard work!

Many thanks to Communities Scotland who funded the trip, and to our credit union hosts in Ireland.
